I fell in love with this fabric when I found it in Gastonia a while back. I've been waiting and waiting to find the right pattern and a year later here it is! It is a simple A-line dress with an empire waist accented by coordinating teal ribbon.

Every dress has its own story and this one started on my trip to China this summer. After spending some time in Beijing, I traveled to Louyang to visit my dear friend, Mariah, who is a nurse at at an orphanage called Maria's Big House of Hope. While there, we took a quick trip to the fabric market where they had HEAPS of fabric to dig through!!! I found this one in the middle of one of those heaps and knew I would somehow cram it into my suitcase! 

Mosaic Market Skirt
